  ABA HALL OF FAME

Each year, the AMERICAN BICYCLE ASSOCIATION inducts two legendary BMX racers, one legendary Freestyle rider, along with one influential Industry person into the Official BMX Hall of Fame. All inductees are voted in by the BMX community, BMX press and past inductees from a nominee ballot. The current list of nominees are selected by the BMX Hall of Fame committee.

The official home of the BMX Hall of Fame is located at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA.

VANCE PATTERSON
First and foremost, he is father to Brent and Brian Patterson--holders of three National No.1 Pro titles in the ABA. Secondly, he was founder of Patterson Racing Products--the frame with state of the art, ahead of its time racing geometry. Thirdly, as a team manager, Vance had a good eye for talent and greatly influenced some of the sports top stars.
KYLE FLEMING
ABA’s very first No.1 Amateur--back in 1978. Kyle helped put Arizona BMX on the map, and gave DG bikes a winning reputation in the late-70’s. Made the move from BMX to motocross, but tragically died in a car/train accident in 1982.
MIKE MIRANDA
One of the sports’ most flamboyant pros, "Hollywood" Mike helped put CW Racing and Hutch bikes on the map with his on-track style, professionalism and off-track personality. Winner of the 1986 Nora Cup. Along with JT Racing and Hutch, is responsible for making "pink" a common color in the mid-80’s. Starred-in and stood out in the movie "RAD." Today, Mike is a golf pro in Southern California, and goes by his real father’s last name; Mike Felvey.
